Well I fixed the scales of my Vagabond yesterday :tu:

I took the shield side of the scales off of a Classic (the other side had an advertisement ::) ) and glued it on to the side that had a cracked scale :) Now both sides have the shield :o and I think I really like that :cheers:

Then I took some black scales off of a cheapy I had and fixed the Classic back (no shield but it's useable again :tu: :D )

Also happy with the way it came out :)

I also noticed that when I took the scale off the Vagabond that it wasn't for a toothpick or tweezers :think: perhaps it had one of the earlier take out pens like a 91mm has now

Anyone know if that would have been possible ???

Plus when were the Vagabonds discontinued? I really like the setup of it better than my MiniChamp :think: That would give me a better idea of how old it might be :tu:

Yeah my MiniChamp has that kind of pen in it but I am talking about the older style of pen that fit in the 58mm like the 91mm pen does :tu:

Nice SAK by the way I know what you mean about the file it does come in handy every now and again :D

I really like that it has 2 knife blades :o

In fact I like the other style it comes with probably better than the small clip point that is normal on most 58mm

Looking good Poncho  :tu:. The Caddy is not part of my edc, too pretty for that  :D. I'm thinking of picking up something similar to your Vagabound to replace an alox Classic on my key chain.  :cheers:

Here is the one I'm carrying now;

a Rambler.  Sorry about the poor pic but I took it indoors.  It actually has very nice white scales.  I have to say this is the first 58mm I have ever EDCed and it's working out well for me.  Because I have a scissor obsession (thanks fro pointing that out Micky  ::)) I wasn't carrying the half of my SAKs that didn't have them.  With this I've now got far more SAKs to pick from and I'll still have my precious scissors  >:D.  In truth if this had a corkscrew I don't know I'd need to carry anything else  ;)
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Ok, I have to ask:  Just what model is the first SAK?  I can't find one just like it listed elsewhere. o.o

I have carried it every day as it is one of the few things I can carry at work.  It fits in my EDC very well.  :)

Thank you guys!

I love these sweet little SAKs. I alternately EDC the three below. The two Wengers are a bit bigger than the Vic. I don't know if these two still fall under the 58mm category.

They are actually 65mm.  I have the clipper model and it is superb.
