We had a fake SAK from Lidl's about 15 years ago, which wasn't very good quality.

Every now and again Lidl stocks MT's of different shapes and sizes and for some strange reason I feel tempted. At the end of the day though they are fake, and I know that any pleasure I get from buying one will be fleeting. The quality isn't good enough to withstand the rigours that real SAK's are built for.

Given that Lidls cheese, coffee and some of their fruit and veg is of extremely high quality, I find this state of affairs an unusual one. It would be marvellous if they teamed up with Victorinox to sell proper SAK's. Not fake SAK's.

Ah, come on Grant, of course we are discussing multi-tools! In fact, some of those fakes are actually quite good, like the Crunch knockoff, or some of the MP600 fakes
