So now you have to order the part and wait  The wait is the worse thing :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh Hope it all goes back together good for you  :like:
Oh no, sir. I had ordered and received the part a week ago. Oven is fixed. Turns on in 40 seconds like it should instead of 5 minutes with a WHOOSH! of gas. (That's the dangerous part.) I just had to wait for the missus to not be USING the oven at a time convenient for me to effect the repair. As a bonus I got the light working too by cleaning the slightly corroded contacts.

Ah so you already knew the offending part :salute: Good man :tu: I usually have to troubleshoot problems and then find the broken part, then order :D

Glad you got it in proper working order before a kaboom as well :like:

Powernoodle Day 10

(Image removed from quote.)
One of our specialties at Powernoodle Gardens is Lycoris squamigera.  A member of the amaryllis family, Lycoris squamigera takes only 4-5 days from first emergence from the earth to full bloom.  This speedy plant has thus taken on the names surprise lily, resurrection lily, magic lily and naked lady.

The tip of that part is about as fragile as a fly's wing and I had broken the first replacement part mostly due to the fact that the "OEM" part did not fit "OEM-ly" into the mounting cage. So another $45.00 later...
I had replaced the same part (identical part number) more than 15 years ago in another house and another oven. What are the chances?

Still Hang'n out at the Hospital.
Dad's surgery went well, now it's all about recovery and that's going to be slow.

Day ELEVEN
A bit of a departure, and inspired by gerleatherberman, pics of my ST's nesting and resting place and a question...

I like the pouch very much and for some reason I prefer a horizontal carry for this MT, which this pouch allows. I'd like to find another pouch (for my Spirit) that allows the same, because even tho' they look identical, they are only fraternal. Does anybody have information about the Vic ST vert/horiz pouch? g-man, I'm guessing your ST's new finery is only capable of vertical carry, no?
Thanks, gents!
Comparison pics of the Spirit pouch (top) versus the ST pouch. Note the different style snap too:

It is vertical only. I have not found a vert/horz sheath for a reasonable sum yet, but will kep my eyes out! I have only ever carried the swisstool vertically since we started, because my sheaths are vert only. :)
I may take the old sheath and sew some straps across the back and see if that will be something that can be done. I have heavy duty thread and nylon strapping,  so theoretically I may be able to do it.

In the time being, the leatherman nylon 4.5" sheath might work and is only $12-$15. It is vert and horz carry with good velcro.
It fits the swisstool fairly well, but horizontal carry is best with the LM sheath. IMO
