Those eclipse glasses protect your eyes from the sun and the waves.

Brother Poncho - and everyone else - what MT are you going to switch to after this challenge?  I'm thinking the Spirit.  Same basic tool set as the Swisstool, same outside opening tools like God intended, and a few ounces lighter.

I think I may try the Spirit for a while even tho' the imprecision of that precision instrument still bugs me. But I'll likely start wearing one of my Waves (2G) again for the most part. I'm hoping Sir Douglas will consider sporting a "big Wave" for a while but we shall have to wait and see about that.

It may happen as a trial run at some point but for now unless some one knows of one realy cheap with free shipping (like fifty cents) it's going to be a while.  As I've said the only thng I would have differant on the Swisstool is OHO and the OG Wave did that beautifully, it just wasn't tough enough for the what I expect from my daily cary.  The Charge and Surge definately have my interest but I'm not sure about the bit holder thing and not fond of having to open the handes to access tools.  That being said I probably will only carry my modded Spirit on Sundays and maybe (and I stress maybe) Saturdays after the challenge.  I've carried the ST now for 19 years almost exclusively and the one or two months in that time that I carried some thing else it was the Spirit.  Even though the Spirit is great and feature packed it also is just not strong enough for my daily needs.  I still need to send in for repair the one I carried for that one or two months several years ago.

Sent this time.
Day TWENTY-THREE
So exciting: tightening screws on the sock-drawer handle.

Also cut some handholes in a cardboard box. Knife went through it like butter and then the handholes tore out like butter. Cheap "Wines of Chile" cardboard!

I have been away a few days. A little UC flare up, but got back to work today. The ST has not left my side though, even if it was eye candy a few days. :P

Ah, apologies if I sounded insensitive. We love pizza here. Thin, medium, thick, round, square, white, red, vegetarian, meat lovers, Polynesian, garbage can (all toppings)...
Enjoy.
I've got homemade baked beans, coleslaw and tabouli going. Ain't gonna make me no friends tonight or tomorrow.
I think I'll put in a word with the Big Guy (not Def) tonight for all of my MTO brothers, some more specifically than others.
Respect.

I have an old wishbone mirror dresser that was my great-greatgrandparents that I wish we had before and after pics of it.  My dad and I refinished it (read as stripped 50 layers of black paint off :D ) after my great-grandmother died and it was passed to him and my mom.  Why anyone would paint such beautiful wood is beyond me  Since then I have really liked antique stuff like this :like: I have now had it passed down to me by mom and dad and have it in our bonus room with pictures and stuff like that in it

The painted stuff is a thorn in my side. Haha But, it is job security. A lot of people back in the day didn't know how or could not afford to refinish their stuff, so paint was the cheap and easy solution. They never thought guys like us would have to undo the painting. :ahhh
And, back in the 20s & 30s, people would paint or varnish furniture to help eliminate bed bugs from the piece of furniture. Ornate and old furniture was disney land for the bugs that can hide up to a 100ft from the bed in almost anything. Paint and varnish filled the voids and helped with infestations. Now we have chemicals to help, but not back then.

Popping the door slide back into its track yet again. Any decent screwdriver can do it, but a finger cannot.
