*Consistent* results? No. Unless you mean consistently bad, in which case the answer is flea markets in my part of the world, where every SAK I've encountered has been abused and overpriced.
Good deals on eBay can be had, but the truly great deals are accompanied by risk. For example, one evening last year I saw an old cross Solo with a buy it now of $9.95, shipped. The listing only had a single, poor-quality photo, but I figured I'd take a shot anyway. When the knife arrived, it was in mint condition.
I generally prefer to purchase SAKs from the for sale section here. Prices are generally fair, and descriptions are accurate.
