How did you come up with the Farmer Smurf name btw?

I didn´t, the name was there already. I just borrowed it because it fits me quite well. Even though I´m a gardener and not a farmer. I was born in a small village, with a hunter next door and a farm close by.
A blue gardener?
With green fingers  :pok:.
:D :tu:

Need to wait 'till I get home from camping.
Got everything I need here except the "decent knife that is not a SAK or Multi"
Haven't brought one of those...

Wait a minute ...

You went camping without "a decent knife" ?

I know "the outdoor" in our country is nothing compaired to what our American or Australian MTO'ers have in their backyard, but seriously ?  Not even a Mora Companion  :sa:.

I really hate doing this but I think you deserve it this time ...

A fantastic idea for entry to a great GAW for two great reasons.  Happy MTO anniversary and Happy Birthday this month!

Fresh pictures for the requested entry;
I travel, only one color socks are packed, one of last two clean pairs! With my Farmer,

Then the WAVE found its way posing on this West Michigan travel magazine in
tonight's hotel room,
And last, my favorite traditional, a model 66 Camillus on my worn hand protection in back of work truck,

Hope yours is as good!

Loved this one. Amazing contest. Great prize too. I borrowed my daughter's mittens and socks for this... far cuter and cleaner than mine...

So what should you do to enter the draw (on August 28)?

Simple. You won't need to maintain a list of participants, just post one pic each in the following three categories:

1. Sax'n'sox - a picture of a Swiss Army Knife with a (fresh!) pair of socks.
2. Multi'n'mag - a picture of a multitool (pliers or scissors based) on the cover of a magazine.
3. Knife'n'gloves - a picture of a "proper" knife (i.e. not a SAK or a multitool) with a pair of gloves.

I'm not asking for elephants so these should not be too difficult.

Just post your three pics before the 28th and you're in (of course you're free to post additional pics)!

Examples:

Glad we have time. :whew: Was pondering this, ...really like that sheath. Man, the attention I could get with that at work! :D
But... due to the cost of international shipping is why I'm hesitant, but am really liking the photo theme. :2tu: So am gonna have to get into it. (Am missing the other glove. Do mittens count?) And you did say conventional knife - but didn't mention if there was a size limitation to such. >:D
Some are like Crocodile Dundee in effect. :viking:
Means I'll have to go magazine shopping too... :pok: or would comic books be acceptable??

This contest has my creative juices flowing... if can only get the camera to cooperate. I luv a challenge. :salute:

Congrats on your first year as a MToer, Ronald!

  :drink:

Very original idea for the GAW and very generous of you.
 :salute:  :tu:

I had to go out and buy some socks to enter, but let's forget about that...

I also took only one pic but then I saw you wanted:

So I had to take three more pics... This GAW is given me a lot of work already...
