FS: Spyderco Military (PE, black blade) SOLD
on:

Just got my Millie a few weeks ago (read my thread/impressions about it here:http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35096 ), but it doesn't 'fit' me, so I'm offering a trade/sale. Pics (yes, alot of them! These were before reassembly, it looks pristine now):
Condition:
The previous owner had carried it, but not used it, so the screws are a bit 'used' looking on the outside (slight bronze colour). When I got it, there was a horizontal mark on the G10 about 1 1/2" long on the G10, and when the clip (two spots where a bit of the coating has been worn off, some minor scratches) was removed, some accumulated crap got exposed. There are a few *very* tiny spots in the blade where the DLC has disappeared (ie, less than a pin prick, you'll see). Lastly, the previous owner had stripped one of the screws with god knows what (It's one of the back spacer screws). The Torx head is completely trashed, but the screw still holds. I've taken it apart and cleaned and lubed everything with Tuf-Glide, then gave the G10 a good cleaning with warm water/soap/toothbrush and WD40. The blade has been rubbed down with Tuf-cloth, and everything assembled properly.
Lockup is fantastic, blade is centered, no blade play anywhere. I can tighten the pivot for you if local laws don't permit 'gravity knives'.
About the issues above, it's merely an aesthetic issue---the main part of the knife, the blade, is in 99.99999% condition (unused, hair-popping sharp). The clips and the screws can be repaired by the Spydie spa if wanted.
Wanted:
Dodos or Paramilitaries (but mainly Dodos). If there IS a price difference, I'll pay it.
Asking price:
$100 USD $98 $96
$90 (shipping extra), will include original box
Payment:
Paypal (any form, PM me to check)
Cheers, Brendan
