Also head with inserts-bits can be attached to a vics bottle opener.
Sometimes i use it like that to drive the screws.
Pic of "head" for example

Yep that was the original idea i saw in a video once  :tu:
But since to me it made no sense to carry around e extra heavy chunk of steel  (the adapter head), and since i only want to carry 3 or 4 bits that may come in handy to serve as more reliable SD's i decided to go ahead with that mod, but both methods work like a charm .
I think my way is just lighter and has less parts on the way, and since i have literally hundred's of bit's laying around everywhere if i messed up one or two it would be ok...  :D

And the good thing is i can do that mod to how many bits i want yet they will all still work with a regular adapter head if needed

I did it!  :D
I picked a Pozidriv number 2 bit to mod, because my EDC SAK has that awesome inline Philips, and most of the Pozidriv Screws I see are Number 2.
I practiced on a Philips bit that I didn't need.
The tricky bit was making the slot flat enough to eliminate most wobble.
The tape is there to reinforce the too small heatshrink so that the SAK doesn't rip it when in use.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Great job mate  :like:

Don't forget to make the grooves nice and deep so there is no slip  on the bottle opener from the groove. I think i made the grooves on my bit's at least 5mm deep

Go to make me a Pozidriv number 2 too. Haven't done any of those yet.
