I have one Kershaw that travels with me and is a great cutter on install projects.  It is a CQC5K

Those Emerson designed Kershaws are great knives for the money. Especially if you can utilize the "wave". I have the cqc-4kxl and find the quality to be very high.
Nice knife,  Loop!

^ Thank you.  I have two more at home, a CQC-6K and a CQC-7K, both are frame lock styles.

Wicked sharp, with the 5K being under the blade length some job sites allow.

I unknowingly had a CQC-7, bought at flea market in 99 or 2000, it was a work horse with  a chisel grind and tanto blade, it was a TOOL.  Some one else thought so too! Picked it from my tool kit immediately when I was around a corner pulling some wire. It was when I looked to replace did I learn about Emersons and what I lost. Loved the handle material as well.

here's mine, handle shape looks the same, but different blade, and 1 side is metal/frame lock, can't remember M# and got a bum knee so not in the mood to look for the box;

Great knife Blackbeard!
+ 1, I like the blade on yours.
The CQC5K I think is the only K version with liner lock. All the others I checked were frame locked like yours.

Great blades there, beard! :like:
I got my XL on clearance at walmart and it looks, feels,  acts, and seems like a really expensive knife! Love that emerson inspired grind on the blade too! Kershaw did a great job on those for sure!

I like blue for knives,
in fact when I bought the Broken Skull I got a bit delayed on my purchase and the blue model got out of stock the fastest of all colors , so I had to get a white one.
Same happened 6 months later with the Blue Talwar, I wasn't fast enough and it sold out in a breeze

as a side note, "I'm blue" is one of my favorite songs from my teen years   :D

my first Kershaw was a NURA with kind of a bluish grey lines

This Thermite was really the "Gateway Knife" that got me into Flippers in the first place and it was not too long after that I needed better ones!

What a slide it has been too?

Of the color options for the Link, blue was the best looking combo with the dark blade that I could find. I sort of accidentally got into blue knives. It started with my scout knife, then next thing I know, I have a whole fleet of blue blades! Even down to the Kentucky "bluegrass" Stockman :D

Some fixed blades:

Bear Hunter, got a about 5 years ago, now they have them with silly duck commander branding on the blade, it's a little big for my hands, but still usable, tho wish I had gotten the antelope one with smaller handle

Special Agent:

I'm guessing its from the mid 1990's? Newer ones are all black, found in a drawer of my deceased stepfather last year when I was helping my mom throw some stuff away, has decent patina
