Has anyone modded an alox 84mm SAK to four or more layers?

I was fantasizing about my perfect modded SAK and came up with the idea of a Cadet/Huntsman hybrid. Four layers with the woodsaw and scissors in the middle sandwiched between some slim 84mm alox scales. :dd:

Does anyone have a SAK like that who wouldn't mind sharing comparison shots for thickness next to a standard Cadet? Many thanks in advance!  :2tu:

Awesome, thanks!

And what is that, an awl/nail file combo tool?! I didn't even know that was possible! Any idea which tool it was made from?

Have a read of the thread.  Even without pictures it's still worth a look. :tu:

Thanks Luke.   :tu:

The Mega84 is 5 layers:

1) plain main blade, 93mm awl, corkscrew
2) scissors
3) saw
4) opener layer (no awl on reverse)
5) serrated main blade, nail file, backspring phillips

This one makes the Philips vs Corkscrew debate moot...  :D
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

The builder made an awl out of a nail file...

Really sucks all those pics are gone. Would be an awesome thread to wander thru.
