Looking for Sog power lock parts

Interested in any parts people might have, especially the cap lifter as I have a broken one on my powerlock.  Thank you MTO.

I don't know if you are aware, but SOG sells parts for their MT on line. Your broken cap lifter replacement

Yeah, I knew, but was looking for a better deal on used parts.  May have to buy from Sog.

What parts besides the cap lifter are you looking for? I've got blades & files, plus some other SOG stuff hanging about (maybe even a cap lifter).

And did you know that OG SuperTool parts can be made to fit by persuading the locking notch to be just a tad wider?

I actually bought a cheap broken powerlock on ebay to cannibalize for parts -- so I got my caplifter.

I would still be interested in (good) Sog files, v-cutters, saws, and especially powerlock handle covers if you have a spare or two.

Also, the saw is Harley Davidson branded, and I wouldn't really classify either of these files as particularly good

If you call SOGs Warranty line, they will ship you PowerLock handle covers free of charge. Plier heads too, actually.

Thanks for reply, slaughter.  What kind of prices are you looking for for these components?

How did you find out about the handle cover thing?  This surprises me as they sell them on their website.  Will have to give that a try!

I think I found a post on the forum mentioning it, and I tried it myself. I had new handle covers 2 weeks later.

Does $3 for shipping, and $2 for each long tool, and $1 for each short sound fair?

However, I will concede it appears Def has the old rounded files in stock, which are much better than the ones I have.
