I've been unfortunate enough to actually try and drive a sinking car down a river. If you get in that position try to point the engine the opposite way from the picture. The engine sinks first, and will go dead if it goes below water. By having the stern towards the stream it just might keep chugging along in the back stream created a bit longer.

Even better, don't drive into a river in the first place :)

When I first saw that picture I actually thought about the rivers on the south island of New Zealand. Crazy guess: Christchurch region?

A Pukeko is similar to a Kiwi in some respects... but still very different.

I'm surprised they are giving away Pukekos, normally they shoot them to keep numbers down.  ;)
