I like the plain dial, but to me, the bezel is over designed. Also, the description lacks any relevant detail: quartz or mechanical (auto / manual), dimension, material, ....

This is what I thought 're lack of info  :-\ I bet it's quartz , plus I would prefer a different style of logo, personaly I think lm should stick to MT's as the watch market is swamped with well known brands  :tu:

Generic, uninspired design. It also looks cheaply made. What I mean is the main case itself is polished so much it has lost all its definition. Normally an indicator of a product 'that will do'.

My advice would be avoid

Kinda fail.Company made it's name on MULTItools, this is a MONOtool.

If they were doing it with the Tread as the band, not fail, but this... meh. I can buy overpriced Swiss watches anywhere.

Surely overpriced and most likely not worth the cash. I wish they would focus on the profitable part of their business instead of all these side ventures. Just my opinion though.

If I can buy most of Leatherman at 50% retail, this watch at $130-ish is not unthinkable. I can see adapter link for the Tread coming. Do you notice the "limited edition" in the description? I do not think this is a long term product. As many of you, I am unlikely buying this. Smart move for Leatherman should have been collaborating with Casio or Timex to make multi-function watches.

For that money I would go Seiko or higher end G-shock ,don't get me wrong and I'm sure most would back me up on my love of LM but MT'S as that's what they do  :tu:

+1. It doesn't seem to be a bad watch, just about $150 too expensive. For that money I'd get a nicer watch.

Yeah well, I still think that "field watch look" with divers bezel is pretty interesting. And if this limited edition, you wont see these on every wrist.

I would not waste my money on this  I'm into automatics, of course.

Stick a Seiko diver on a green nato  ;) and if i did see this watch on someone I wouldn't give it a second look  :-\ it's just not anything mind blowing for that amount of money  :-[

I don't have any issues with any company expanding into other areas as long as the current areas are tightened up.  Also as long as the current areas are not going to loose funding towards new/better designs.

To be honest the Timex look better (and cost less)

For USD300+ better just choose any watch from the Master of G series of G-Shocks. If you wanna go multitool or rather multifunctional, grab a Rangeman. Want analog-digital? Then there's the Gwn-1000 Gulfmaster.
