Vintage Mystery Tool

Hoping that someone in the group may have seen one of these multitools before and can help me identify it.

It does exist in the US patents and it looks to be possibly european? Just a guess.

Does this look familiar to anyone?

I have no idea.
But my best guess would be an old adjustable wrench...?

It looks similar to Tower and Lyon's Boardman's Patent Tool.
