Victorinox Model ID please

I can't figure out the model from on the tool grid at
https://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Victorinox+91mm+4+Layer+Models

I do know that it's a 91mm 1994-2007 Victorinox with "Switzerland Stainless Rostfree" (next to a bit of rust!) on the tang.

I might be interested in replacing the scales to get a few more items on it.

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations on a nice Huntsman!

I do believe it is older than you indicate, however, due to the grooved corkscrew, lack of sewing eye on the awl, and lack of hook.

:iagree:  It's a Huntsman, I think it is from the late 1980's.

Thank you very much for the ID, Nate!

Ooops, yes, I see I picked the wrong scale cross (K, 1994-2007) on https://www.gearpersonal.com/swiss-army-knife-identification/ whereas it actually looks like C, "1935-today".

And I see the tang stamp could be either vss1 (1957-1986) or vssr2 (1986-2008) on that webpage.  I have no idea which side of 1986 I purchased it on.  Any way to tell?

Edit: Thanks Alan!

Looks pretty good to me as is.  I think I would clean it up a little and leave it alone.  Those old solid scales are better than you get now.  Nice one.  Best wishes.  Gary

Thank you Gary.  I like a reason to do less!

I believe the combination of four-turn corkscrew and awl without sewing eye put it in the range of ca. 1973 - 1985.
