Nice carries chaps, you can't beat a Compact and you can never have too much Jelly.

But something in another thread I read yesterday said "Cadet" to me. So here we are, some 84mm Alox for TLT

My Two Layer Tuesday carry, it's like a Compact but with no hook, keyring, or combo tool. I made this specifically to carry with the Spirit, so I would have a regular blade, good scissors, the pen blade, and scale tools, all the things the Spirit lacks, even though the Spirit is a good stand-alone. What I didn't expect is that it would be a good carry on it's own. While I like having the opener layer of the Climber on me for the most part, it seems like I end up using the 91mm pen blade and scissors daily more than anything else, so this ends up being a good super-minimal carry for me.  :salute:

Twiliter, I joined you with a compaq for the first part of the day and finished off with the Executive, both two layers in honor of TLT!

The tools are older style with the exception of the scissors, solid rivet type which I find less fiddly. Also built with one of the thick inner liners they use in the middle of the bigger SAKs as the front outer liner. It's very rigid and the pre-hook spring makes the scissors snap with authority. For such a simple knife it was a nice surprise how it turned out, it has a good all around feel to it.  :)

That's nice Dan, good call ... and to be honest I typed out my little quip, posted it ... and promptly thought  "Ah... and what am I going to carry today ? Sportsman, Delemont Evolution 10, Tinker Small, Compact, Pioneer  erm, er, ahem ...."

... and it's been a few weeks since my old faithful 84mm Tinker had an outing so I matched that to my Rambler and was set for the day

So it's the old parable "Let him who is decided on his SAK for the day post the first raspberry !"
