NOS PST 2...
on: March 06, 2024, 02:36:25 PM
I found this twice. I found it 6-7 years ago, then I "put it up" so I wouldn't lose it.

I found it again yesterday...

Excellent find :woohoo: :like: :like:

The datecodes on inside the handles and should be in the MMYY format  each handle has them, just pull the tools out and they will be stamped in under the tools  :tu:

Maybe from ‘99 given the pliers pivot and shape and “curvy” tools.

According to the other thread, these are only worth a hundred bucks or so in mint/nos condition.

I think I'll give the leather a touch of Red Wing Mink oil and hide it again for another decade or two...

Craig

If I needed it, I would in a New York minute. However, I have a new Arc, a near new Rebar, a very near mint but used Paratool and a wore out Powerlock alongside several SAK's.

I rarely ever find anything collectible, so I think I'll try to keep this one nice.

Nice one, Murph.  I've got one from 2001, 2002? Still in a clamshell clear plastic package.  Just sits in a drawer at my workbench while I destroy a different one

I understand and feel that way about my Mini so I only carry it on Mondays.  Would be great if you'd take it from the display case every now and then on a Tuesday (for Pocket Survival Tool Tuesday) and find something for it to do.
