At least not anymore... Not like they used to...

still can't find a fieldtripper
Here's another Fieldtripper, a.k.a. the high knife. Seems like a nice gadget.
Ronald Schroder asked me to make him a Bushcrafter and very kindly sent an extra SAK over as well so I could make myself one too. I did mine first as a prototype and to highlight any difficulties or any mistakes I might make, so that Ronalds would be as good as possible. This was my third attempt at an Alox mod and I took the opportunity of using the black Pioneer scales given to me by Sak60 to make my own version of the Bushcrafter, The Bailcrafter.Ronald, yours is all together and ready to peen but I'll do that after a goods nights sleep and send it on its way to you once it's finished.
Mags, I've been thinking... I'm so envious of your preening peening. What's your technique? I've finally decided that pre preening peening one side of the pins before sticking them in a SAK is a bad idea, and next time I will preen peen both sides once the pins are in the SAK.
No shims or anything to prevent the rivet getting too tight while you form the heads?
