MP400 has always been my favorite. I like the old version blade though. The new version blade drives me bonkers.
The old blade is drop point/spearpoint, whereas the newer one is a Wharncliffe
After giving this thread some more thought, my answer is that I am undecided There are four full sized Gerbers that I really like, and the Dime that has been on my keyring for a few years. I wouldn't say it's the Dime even though that gets carried the most, as it certainly has limitations on durability, so that leaves Balance, MP400, MP600, and Diesel. Aside from the Balance, all mine are modded, and it would be unfair to judge a factory tool based on the changes I have made. The Balance has been a good urban tool, but doesn't feel like it has the durability of the others, so this gets me down to three. The MP600 seems to be moving more towards the carbide cutter versions, which is a significant downside to me, so this just leaves the MP400 and DieselChoosing between these to is really just down to what needs I would have at any given time. I really like the MP400, and the 426 is one of my favourite mods, but for the sake of this thread, I'm going to give top spot to the Diesel purely for the added capability (including the can opener being able to be used as an awl or scribe), and for having superb plier ergonomics compared with most other tools of it's size

Pretty sure I knew at one point, but currently drawing a blank
I only have 3 gerbers and My Pinchy multiplier is my favourite at the mo. Nice and fliky for playing with, decent tool set and none locking so ideal for UK knife laws.
