Just catching up on this thread :o So many great mods, you all have given me so many ideas :ahhh I haven't done a mod in a while and think I may try my hand at it again :D

Mods:
1. Removed material from the side of the frame & add a slot in the knife blade so that it can be one hand opening. I also removed a small amount of material from near the pivot so the blade will open more easily.
2. Did the same thing on the other side so the scissors can be opened one handed. Instead of a hole in the scissors, I just removed a little bit of material to help with friction.
3. Removed material from the scissors so they aren't so restricted and I also took off a small amount of metal where the blades meet to form a chamfer in hopes that this would allow material to pass by more easily.
4. Modified the can opener by making the 'blade' a continuous shape which is excellent for prying tight things like watch bezels or SAK scales and for carving spoons.
5. Modified the inside part of the can opener to be a gutter/pull cutter.
6. I guess it is a mod... I bought and added a pocket clip.

It is worth noting that the tool also lost 2 grams in the process and unfortunately gathered a bunch of small metal shavings between the tools. I'm still working them out. This was a bittersweet project because I now have a tool that may just be the pinnacle of all my multitools. Will this be the elusive 'goal' that will end my modding?

@ChopperCharles Victorinox has them as a separate product (both for the Swisstool and the Spirit models). I bought mine through a local watch sales store, but there are a lot of dealers who carry them.

Tool Name: Skeletool X
Basis: Skeletool
Aim: Add that little something I've been missing from carrying the Skeletool around.
Mods:
1. Removed most of the liner that holds the spare bit.
2. Added scissors from A Gerber Truss (dropped right in and I also put in a thin washer to get just the right amount of friction)
3. Modified scissor shape for even better fine work and took off a smidgen from the bit that presses against the spring so that the tip of the scissors near the pivot wouldn't accidentally get pushed up when closed.
4. Designed and 3D printed an insert to the carabiner head that can hold 2 bits to replace the extra bit spot I lost.

Tool name: my wave
basis: wave plus
Aim: to make it more useful for my needs
Mods: replaced the blade with an s30v charge blade, added tweezers from victorinox under the woodsaw, took out the eyeglass driver and can opener, and installed a second bit driver for number 1/2 Phillips, and have 3 size flat drivers on other side.

Thats really cool, man what I would get myself into if I could 3d print parts.. great ingenuity designing a making your own bit holder

This post is years old but I found you on a Google search. I made an account just to ask you about this project. This is exactly the thing I'm looking for my Style. Is there any way you could share the files for this project or I could even purchase them from you. Idk if you will ever see this but, awesome job this is really cool and I would love to add it to my Style. Hope to hear from you!
