Love the Style PS. Except for the scissors.
 :-\

Maybe the fact that the spring broke twice already has got something to do with it...

I thought a broken scissor spring was part of the Style PS package?
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

I have a love/hate relationship with Leatherman. I love their tools for the most part and hate how they run their business. It just seems they have taken a path that is not benificial to them by trying new products that do not sell so well. After they spend all this money on R&D and their new tools flop they pass along their mistake to the customers in the form of raising prices. Why should I pay for your mistakes. Same thing with California politicians. They can't manage a budget properly so I pay for their mistakes. That's what really makes me say SMURF!

It's weird how the people in charge of the money don't know how to use it well.

This sort of stuff is why I don't get on the "Victorinox needs to innovate more" bandwagon. To use one of the oldest and most tired cliches in the book, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

The ultimate love hate: own a juice! every tool in it is almost it, almost.. pliers ok until you try and cut hard wire, blades ok, diamond file cool, and now its time to break your fingernails trying to pull out the incredible but always too short flat tips, 3 each... phillips is cool and you can attach the removable bit driver but by itself its too short shanked. Then there is the incredible can opener/ source of annoyance. Scissors ok until you compare it side by side with that victorinox thats too big to carry in your pocket... juice love it, hate it carry it everyday in my bag, saves the day weekly. I wish you could design your own, id take the cs4 as its even handled and remove the saw and can opener, add in the file and serrated blade. hmmm .

Top 5 what comes to mind on both worlds.

Love:
- Bit driver on Wave/Charge/Skele/Surge
- Diamond files
- OH blade on Wave/Charge/Skele/Surge
- General good quality of "lower end" tools, like Rebar and Wingman
- Style CS price/capability ratio

Hate:
- QC issues on more expensive tools
- Juice inner tools
- Raptor plastics
- Security torx instead of normal ones
- Charge AL pivot screws

Still a fan of Leatherman, its my favorite MT brand.
I cannot say anything about their newer lifestyle tools. I really dont care enough as they arent for me.
Leatherman:
Charge TTi, AL, Squirt PS4, Surge, Juice XE6, CS4, S2, ST300, Crunch, OHT, MUT, Rebar, Brewzer, Signal, Raptor, Tool Adapter, Croc, Wave, Style CS, Freestyle, Skeletool RX, Micra, Wingman
SOG:
PPP, PowerLock, SwitchPlier 2.0, Paratool, PowerAssist, Reactor, CrossCut, PowerPlay
Gerber:
FliK, MP600 ProScout, MP600 blunt, Dime, MP-1, Diesel, MP400
Bahco:
MTT151, MTT051, MTT121
Knives:
Spyderco PM2, Tatanka, Bug, ZT 0452CF, CS Recon1XL, Benchmade 940-1 and 482
SAKs:
Too many to list here...

The Crunch needs replaceable wire cutters.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.
