Help needed with the Wenger Giant

Hello all...

My other half has a Wenger Giant to sell and we are struggling, so I thought I would ask you fine lot for advice. If this is incorrect, please forgive me!

As background, he received it as a gift several years ago and it has sat in its box ever since. It is a wonderful piece of kit but we have absolutely no way of displaying it and would rather someone who appreciated it had it. We posted on eBay but the ad was pulled because it was classed as an offensive, concealed weapon. How eBay thinks you could conceal it, I have no idea, but there we are.

We are in the UK and are struggling to find either a reseller or an auction house. Any help is gratefully received!

Unfortunately eBay UK does not allow listings with  knife stuff.  :facepalm:
Stupid rule I know.

Create an account with one of the European eBay sites, e.g. eBay.de,  and you should be able to list there although UK buyers will be blocked but the rest of the world will see it if you choose.

I`ve done this in the past but I don`t guarantee it`s still possible.

Another option is to try and sell it here on the forum in the "trades" section.

We're all tool enthousiasts here so it'll definitely go to a good home then.

As mechanickal says, try it on here, but also have you tried Gumtree in the UK? Might be an option.

Gumtree is owned by eBay so the same restrictions may apply, also the buyer base is limited. I`ve not had much success selling anything on Gumtree, it`s mostly chancers and lowballers.

I'd say list it here and sites that are EDC themed.  Being new might make some hesitate but at least you'll get it in front of the target audience.  Good luck.
