What do you carry in your Skinth Toolet?

I have a Skinth Toolet M7 for quite a while, but I used it for storing some scales and never carried it.

Now that my EDC knife fits in it (the Opinel fitted too, but it made the Toolet fat), I will give it a try, carrying it in my left back pocket, with my wallet in my right.

At the time, there's a Gerber Double Take and a Chums one piece tool. A sacking needle also. You can see my EDC in the picture. My main EDC is in the XL Shield and my "first responders" are on my keychain. They are both quite comprehensive, but I'm used to have a knife in my pocket, since I leave my bag in my office inside the 7 stories building I work. This will be inside the Toolet now.

I guess I could put my Alox with scissors inside instead.

What else may I put in there? What do you put in your Toolet (or similar seath)?

SwissCard is about the size of 5 stacked credit cards.

5 cards fit exactly, as if it was designed for a Swisscard.

Since my EDC is the Spirit and an Alox, I always had a minor problem, how to carry a toothpick ( there are tweezers on my Minichamp Signature). A Swisscard will do it.
When I leave my bag behind, I only have my knife on me. The Swisscard will add potential. Since I have a knife and no drivers, I'm thinking that the Nailcare will be perfect, with the Quattro included.

Anyway, I made some research. Santos is right, googling Skinth Toolet I had to suffer a lot of toilets and some vintage LUX soap ads. Anyway, the Tool Logic reviews aren't very encouranging, and I'm a SAK buff anyway, so I'll buy the Swisscard Nailcare, available locally for 39 euros (down to 30 online, but with shipping it will be the same. Why the Nailcare?
1. In my EDC (Spirit, Alox, Minichamp with signature scales) I only have a small tweezers position. I miss the Plus tools of my Swisschamps I EDCed for years.
2. The Nailcare contains no knife. So I expect it to be travel friendly (are those scissors forbidden?). I keep my Gerber Double Take in the same Toolet, for everyday.


Another option I thought of, after googling. If I keep there the Leatherman driver tips and adapter, or the Victorinox ratchet and bits, I might release space in my Skinth Shield for alternatives, such as the Charge or the Swisschamp XLT. I have to test that.


An AAA light, like the Solitaire LED fits too.

I've got a Toollet but have stopped using it.   I used to keep it in my bag with a bit kit, mini sharpie, some duct tape and other little bits and pieces in it, but now I  keep them in a molle sheath along with whichever Leatherman I'm carrying at the moment.

I have a Swisscard that fits nicely in there - maybe I ought to give it a bit more thought and see if I can start using it again.  Perhaps use it as a wallet for a while (a couple of bank cards, some cash, the swiss card, I wonder what else ) and see how it goes.

Now it becomes more clear.


I put inside my Gerber Double Take, the SwissCard Nailcare, the Chums Tusker, Alcohol pads, 3 Band Aids, a sewing kit, paperclips, a big sacking needle (I use it mostly for cleaning tight places of my gadgets). I carry it on my left back or front pocket (right back for wallet, front for iPhone), or left jacket pocket, or put it in any of my bags.


I have two more free pockets on the Toolet. I can carry banknotes and creadit cards behind the Swisscard (my wife sends me for payments often), and some items from my main EDC (the Skinth Shield XXL). Tested Pocketwrench, Sharpening diamond file, bit kits, 10 folded banknotes, they all fit perfectly.


I can also put in other items I have, like a Mercator, or a Douk-Douk, or an Alox.


When I travel, I'll remove the knife and exchange it for the MecArmy light, that might prove very useful on the trip.


I am excited. And I had it for years in the drawer. Mainly because my then EDC knife, the Opinel Jardin, made it look quite fat.

In fact it is a minimal wallet, or a second wallet if you like, with the added benefit of a knife and tools seath.
