In other news, I'm a little bemused by this place. It's Spanish, Balearian, German(according to the joke) and English.  ::)
I'm used to the likes of Madrid, pure Spanish.

There is a bar literally around the corner "run by a British family". The dinner menu for today there is roast beef.... and Yorkshire pudding.  :rofl:

Apparently they put a teensy bit of charcoal powder in the dough to make it go black. But it begs the question, how do you tell if it's burnt?  :D

I did that to a Hawaiian Pizza once. I probably should have cooked it on aloha temperature.

truth is we Spaniards have beer and wine almost everywhere. If I remember correctly we're the country in the EU with more bars per capita and I can tell it's really easy to find a lace where you can have some wine or a couple beers, even in the smallest towns in the middle of nowhere
