German Karstadt Victorinox Wrist Watch + 58mm Knife
on: October 09, 2017, 04:33:23 PM
This Victorinox wrist watch and small 58mm knife are now being sold by the German company 'Karstadt'.
Do anyone recognize the knife? Seems to me it has a strange tip on the nail file.
(Pictures are from the Karstadt website.)

It’s a 58mm classic variant... that special tool is used to remove the pins that holds the watch bracelet... not sold separately...

Victorinox also includes a similar 58mm in its replacemant watch straps for their watches... At least the I.N.O.X. Paracord bracelets have them...

Thanks jaya!

It is a little bit weird, because when you google on the number "241549.1", you'll find lots of Victorinox watches, but NOT this particular model!
And it seems like the small knife wasn't originally meant for this watch. I think the recession in the show case is for a Pioneer model (hence the "officer's" engraved plate).
Maybe they gathered some left overs and combined them.

So what kind of tool is that strange nail file tip supposed to be?

Agree... Google says the watch is a Maverick model... could it be an older one?

It’s used for removing the pins which hold the watch strap...
