Poll

What would you most want in a Pioneer X?  Please chosse one from each of the 4 design features, and 1 to show how serious you are about purchasing one.  this will help decide if a run is viable or not.

I'd suggest, once this poll runs it's course, a second poll should be floated to see who will commit to the final design, whatever it turns out to be. That way, we'd end up with a slightly better prediction for firm order numbers.

Just a thought. (Which fills my quota for the day.  ;))

I'm down. Would Victorinox entertain 3 color variants? (red+silver shield) and a different color scales...

The final cost I'm certain will be determined by how many hard and fast units there are to order.  I would expect that at around 25 units the cost for a custom unit as we are designing would be between $50 to $65.  Of corse that is just a guess on my part and I am certainly NOT presuming to speek for Grant or MTO because those numbers are only a GUESS.  Keep in mind that to this point we only have a count of 12 committed units per the survey and 14 on the fence with no actual firm orders having been placed.  I would love to see a much stronger comitment to push up the buying power.  If you know any one that is serious please get them to respond ASAP.  With enough comitment we can keep this alive and the cost would go down.
