How big is it?
Great if you need to chop pencils in half.
Very interesting looking I have never liked the idea of a folding axe though still a very cool oddity and thanks for sharing
Could you use the "axe" part for batoning?
Lot of makers have made these suckers over the years ,but this is the first Western one I've seen. They're interesting, but I don't exactly think the backspring would take chopping. These were made for processing game, but even then I don't think an axe is a good tool to be folding.
That axe head seems awlfully small for a 12" long axe.
Does it LOCK??? I think it's kind of cool but the design needs to be more ergonomic and functional.

This bad boy should come in a sheath with a lot of band-aids included. It is made like a regular pocket knife, but with a tiny axe.

Yikes I just got an image in my head of me holding the bottom half of the handle and swinging it like a tomahawk only to accidentally strike a metal cable or something on the top half of the handle a couple inches above my grip -- Sending the axe head swinging into the closed position making short work of my fingers.
You know, now that I think about it, I believe either Rough Rider or Marbles (probably Marbles) makes a modern version of this knife.
That's an interesting one.I posted a Remco branded variant with a fishing gaff a while back.https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,71165.msg1442209.html#msg1442209
