I read a lot of posts, yes I really am that sad
I have an oldie Climber and it makes a great EDC SAK.
All SAK's are good. However, I find the Climber lacking.I don't have a need for a corkscrew (I do not drink) other than to hold a mini-screwdriver.I prefer and have a Super Tinker, as you have the PHillips screwdriver in lieu of the corkscrew. However, I also want a saw. And a nail file/metal file.I wished they made the Ranger with a Phillips screwdriver. That would be nearly 100% perfect. I bought one recently for the collection, even has Camping emblem on it. The Fieldmaster is excellent if you just want the saw.But to each their own. Me, I will stick with my pre-1987 Champion....has all I need. If I need pliers, I will whip out the SOG EOD PowerPlier, or a Swiss Tool.
Im getting the Climber with the Stay Glow scales next week.
