placed an order on amazon for a pink classic (gift certificate  8) added a one hand trekker for a friend (another present) and saved on shipping. they have a oht for $22 right now with a free classic bundle.

Wanted to add that women who cook and like to hang around in the kitchen (a rarity these days) tend to be in to the kitchen ware and that includes knives. maybe not tacticool or multifunctional as a sak or a mt might be but a knife in it self is a knife, a weapon or a tool or what ever you want to call it/use it. I've seen some really good kitchen knives used by women and they pride in their tools, which usually cost as much as a small sak collection.

Considering the overly male arena this forum is, If I were a female sakaholic I think I'd be tempted not to mention the fact and always type in a gruff voice ;)

Hmmmm, wondering how many of you people are actually females incognito....

I got the pink one at staples a while ago, it was part of breast cancer awareness/donation drive campaign. Yeah I'm using stainless/black parker atm, the one I had before (lost by a coworker) was burgundy and matched my sak scales. I'd like to get a stainless one as well.

Well I bought one at Wal-Mart today it only cost $3.76.

nice, good deal staples has them for at least $6. I got a 10 pack for 30 bucks on line, since others lose them for me all the time I might as well have a few extra around, and at that price it's a steal.

I've only met one girl who knew what a "Leatherman" was...sadly she was referring to the SOG I was using

You know, I hate that.  >:( Whenever I wear my Swiss Tool or Spirit there is always someone that refers to it as a Leatherman.

I understand that they are unlearned and need to get on a forum like this to learn the difference but it just really ticks me off.  (ranting almost done must control anger)

Just like a cotton swab is a Q tip or a facial tissue is a Kleenex.   A SWISS TOOL IS NOT A LEATHERMAN

The way you tell is the color RUST you find only on Leathermans. :D

Of course.  I'm sure there are scores of ladies salivating at the content of this forum; awash with tools, blades, testosterone, and guys who clearly spend a significant portion of their lives posting at same.   :D

I was under the impression that this was a hideout once Little Rascals became politically incorrect, and the He-man Woman Hater's Club even more additionally moreso besides.  :o

In any case, I think we are all missing the larger picture.  Women have been carrying multitools for thousands of years.  They call them "men" . . .

Semper Fi.

I come here to get in touch with my feminine side.  Does that count?? ::)

I think a plier based tool is just too bulky for your average woman to want to carry around :-\

but who knows, theres so many types of ladies.mine can change tyres, use nail gun, etc, not so girlish stuff.nailfile aint her primary tool in multui it seems :D
