I really like the way it carries, but do you find it annoying whe using certain tools like the small blade, or flathead screwdriver?  Or do you get used to it after awhile?  thanks.......

It annoyed me on my Cybertools when using the bit driver.
So I got rid of the P7 and attached a Vic lanyard instead.

I made a suspension clip using a keychain swivel off an old cheap flashlight and the clip off of the chain that came with a cheap pocket watch I had as a kid--it sometimes catches the CyberTool layer, but that's it.

I attached a small gate clip to the two P-7s I have. I can remove it easily if it gets in the way. Plus I can move it to whatever SAK  I feel like carrying at the time.

I have been carrying my SAK on a P-7 for years with no type of quick release, just right on the SAK's keyring. It gets in the way a little bit, sometimes, but its hardly a problem. It's just such a convenient way to carry any SAK and I love it too much to do anything differently.

Not a P-7 but it's near enough.

This is the best way to do it.
