I initially saw the pictures. Went to reply and the board warned me that others had replied. Refreshed the page and they were gone.

When I try to view the picture URLs, it tells me to sign in with Google. Not quite as annoying as the constant reminders that person X should upgrade his Photobucket account to a more expensive tier, but I see no pictures in both cases. :D

Both in the last post, none in the first one (in Safari on iOS and Chrome on Chromebook - so signed both in AND out of goooooogle...)

Anyway, looks like an odd knife indeed. :tu:

Certainly odd. Can you post a picture with the tools open? Curious to see the tang stamp and the openers to get an approx age.

What is it? My guess is some special weird custom run for someone. Looks to be from the early to mid 1960s, a time when small custom runs with weird tool configurations were not unusual. I have a couple from this time that are equally odd: an Angler and a Mountaineer both with no opener layer; a Climber with a Technician screwdriver, and a Motorist with a wood saw instead of a metal file. I think during this time the knives were still largely hand assembled, so custom configurations were less of a hassle than they would be today with lots of machine automated production lines.

Neither can I. Best guess is a 3rd Party hosting blocker that detects when the image is being called in to display by another web site, which is what occurs with posting here that use URL's for the imagery that stored elsewhere on the Internet. The source of it (where the image file is stored) can detect that kind of usage and block it if it chooses to. Popular meme images that go viral can impose a whopping bandwidth consumption and cost on a small server that never intended for it to be used in that manner by others.

Other problem could be its "sharing" settings not allowing it to be completely "public" but restricted.
