Just curious, what blades has everyone used and why in your blade exchanger? I have a Surge and really like the idea of being able to swap blades out. I'm picking a couple up this weekend to throw in the pouch.

I use Bosch T-Shank Jigsaw Blades with a small Heat-Shrink shim so they fit properly.
I like the basic wood and metal multi packs with a mix of long and short blades.
I cut a little off the short ones so they can be stored in the Surge and the longer blades go in the day pack.

Same as zoidberg for blade choice, plus some speSmurfpillsed Bosch metal blades and one no-name diamond blade (just in case...), without the heatshrink shims (my Surge exchanger has the anti-wobble spring and I haven't felt the need to use shims yet) and the cutting off.. I keep the blades separate in my travel tool kit to complement the Surge, ST300VX, Charge+'Tofty'*) or Wave+'Tofty'*) or (if carrying a SAK) a small loose jigsaw handle.
*) 'Tofty' = Tofty's jigsaw holder adaptor for Charge or Wave, clips in where the removable pocket clip or lanyard ring normally goes - I have not tested this yet with any serious sawing though. See posts in related owner club's threads and/or search for Tofty.
Cheers!

Adding in a compliment of saw for different materials takes the Surge to the "next level" in my opinion.  I've pretty added a good metal cutting saw blade as well as pvc and aluminum cutting blades.   Sure a good hack saw can cut those materials but the saws are thin and small enough to add a few.  I also have one longer wood blade thats probably much to long for the tool but its worked out ok and I really only used it once.  The new Surge seems to have kept blade wobble down if not eliminated it.

Picked up a couple metal blades and a 30 grit ceramic/glass blade at Lowe’s today. I can’t imagine why I need a 30  grit ceramic/glass blade but I didn’t have one so...

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. :multi:
