I did start a new series on Amazon Prime though, American Gods...  :pok:
Fantastic book - read it several times.  What's the show like?

Several times, huh Mags??  I've been looking for a good read...
I highly recommend it - in fact any of Neil Gaimans books and comics are worth a read.   :salute:

that's a good book, I read it when it first came out like 10+ years ago, what's on Amazon? Season 1 I guess, I don't have Starz channel anymore, gonna have to wait a year to see Season 2, ugh...the show is really good as well, very violent, great cinematography

Out of so many shows I've stopped watching, this one has staying power......
There was a point in the previous season where it felt like the writers ran out of ideas, but the new season is flowing nicely......

Spent a 1/2 hour browsing netflix menus and could not find a single thing that interested me, man there's a lot of stuff there, but I reread this thread and saw recommendation for "Mindhunter" pretty good so far, also enjoying the soundtrack/late 70's music.

Just saw the latest Thor move, Ragnarok, was decent, tries hard to be a comedy too often though, but it's got good cgi and epic fight scenes.

I think the previous movie was more enjoyable, this one felt like it could use some Han Solo. Seems like they build a new Yoda puppet every movie, he looked weird(for a weird looking alien )

Cannot recommend 2 shows highly enough. First is Hannah Gadsby's 'Nanette' and second is Queer Eye.

Both are extremely moving and powerful - each in their own way.

Queer Eye is incredible for reality tv. Genuinely ground breaking and unique, honest, emotional and heartwarming but raw too. These guys have had to be strong just to be themselves and they use their experience to build bridges, tear down prejudice and help people out, not just with their style but their entire lives.  Amazing.

Nanette is like no other comedy show I've ever seen - as honest, as raw and as deep as you'll ever see.  Like with the guys from Queer Eye, you get an idea of the sheer determination and courage queer people have to have just to be themselves, even these days.  Humbling to a straight, white dude.

I had forgot about Bosch, was halfway thru S1 2 years ago, got distracted  with other stuff and never got back to it. just started watching it again thx for the reminder...
Show content
when the serial killer escapes the police I thought, ridiculous, no way this would happen, theres a lot of other stuff you just say "really?" but its a decent show

Finished rewatching all of Better Call Saul, in anticipation of the new season.  Now rewatching Breaking Bad.

Stranger?

Try passing out and missing the last half en E03 and then watching E04

I like it but I seem to be developing a low tolerance for tv shows in general.......first hint of a show veering off course I stop watching and delete the past seasons.

Refreshingly honest, haven't laughed that much in a long time.  I downloaded what I could get of his show, just as funny but heavily centered on the politics of the day....

Snowfall Season 2 has started.........now I see the plot coming together  :like:

Also watching the new season of Queen of the South, I think what gets me is you know the outcome, now to she how she gets there....... :salute:

But, that means I don't have time for Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, and Preacher is becoming a bit iffy......
