Camping cutlery

I picked up this lovely little set a few days ago.  Marked as made in Solingen by "Feinstahl"?  Certainly feels like they've got a good bit of age to them.

Feinstahl is probably not a name. Direct translation would be "fine steel". I have never seen the expression before, but for gold and silver it is used to denote a high percentage of gold/silver in the alloy. So, I would guess it's just "high purity steel" or something like that.

Oh, and cool cutlery set, btw! (Even though it looks like a minor hygienic nightmare with the way the slots for storing the blade and fork seem impossible to clean.)

Nice curio, though as Steinar says, I bet it;s a chuff to clean. Take some pipe cleaners and hand sanitiser if you do take it camping  ;) :tu:

Cheers folks.  These will definitely need a lot of cleaning every time I ever use them.

Very nice set.  Food particles from previous meals will just add to the flavour. :D
