Is the Swisstool RS discontinued?

Just bought one second hand through a local second hand site for a whopping €30 (+5 shipping) and while browsing some retailer sites for some more info, they showed up on every site as "no longer deliverable" which brings me to the topic of this thread.
Is it discontinued? What for?
Is the rescue blade a good trade-off for the metal file?
Thoughts?

I do know however, that my somewhat abused Swisstool X will be continued as my work EDC, and the RS, which shows in decent condition from the seller's pics, will be my off time carry (rotated with other tools, naturaly)

You are probably right. Here in Holland it isn't available anymore at web shops.

Nick-- my friend is going to Salzburg, Austria next month for a few days. Can you recommend any bargain shops he can visit to get some excellent deals on used SAKs?  :D

Not a good indicator as Vic do not show all their products on their website !! Which is not a great strategy ...

However if you check the 2017 catalogue (which is at the bottom of the SAK product page) - It is not there - So I'd say yes discontinued
Maybe the regular serrated blade is good enough?
