MTO Pumpkin Challenge!

I haven't carved ours yet, but I was wondering who has carved theirs, and what did you use?  Come on folks, let's see some action shots!   :pok:

Merit Badges Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. For those who posted like a boss. Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Start a new thread with a photo of custom or non standard SAK scales in your collection Start a thread with a photo of a repair you made with duct tape Start a new thread including a photo of shooting at least two (2) different airguns and at least one (1) photo of target (airguns) Start a thread with a photo of at least ten OPT's in your collection Must start a thread with a photo of at least five (5) of your watches Must start a thread showing a photo of at least eight BO tools Start a thread with photos of at least 1 MTO branded tool in your collection Start a new thread showing photos of your outdoor cooking Must have a review written in the proper format and posted on the Main Site Start a new thread with a photo of at least 5 different Charge models in your collection

When I was a wee boy, we didn’t have pumpkins, but we had turnips. One year, feeling I was missing out, I hollowed out a turnip with a spoon…. a… spoon! Anyway, I carved a face in it, stuck in a candle and put the top back on. The candle dehydrated and eventually started to burn the top… the resulting stench which filled the house at dinner time was not unlike a ripe dog fart.
Merit Badges Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Only for the 14th year Anniversary Challenge. Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. You have one of your pictures in the 2020 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. Post a picture and recipe for a batch of Chili that you have made Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a LM Pocket Survival Tool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Sorry, but me and my little girl used pumpkin carving tools from a kit :facepalm: I did use a Victorinox kitchen knife to cut the hole in the top though :whistle:

Nothing this year, kids aren’t even going out for a first time, just ordering a pizza and watching a movie..

My family just finished.  I fashioned mine to scare Milennials;)  I used the Victorinox Executive, an ice cream scoop and pasta claw.

I don't carve pumpkins anymore. I have a realistic looking plastic Jack O Lantern that uses a night light bulb instead of a candle. It's cleaner and safer.

it's still 11 AM here but this evening I'll post pics after carving the poor thing, trying to decide what to use to put the holes and torture the orange guy (first world problems  :facepalm:)

I carved mine with a pumpkin carving knife (looks a bit like a SAK fish scaler), and put colour changing LED T-Lights in them.  I did the hollowing out with a CRKT eat'n'tool, and used a good old sharpie to draw my lines on to follow for cutting the faces.
