Due to some personal issues we sort of missed the past two months' worth of Donation Draws so I feel like I really owe you all, especially those of you that kept supporting the forum despite not having anything to win.

Knowing how important the membership is to me, our own Syph007, aka Bob asked me if he could help us out by donating a custom knife for the Donation Draw this time, and I accepted.  Bob also asked me to let him know what kind of knife he should make for us this time, and it didn't take me long to decide what should be done. 

I have been carrying a Victorinox Compact for years, ever since I swapped the scales for yellow ones in this video for a SOSAKOnline article:



For those of you not familiar with Bob's work, here is a Spartan he did for us a while ago:



Now imagine that, just with a large blade, scissors and a combo tool!  This would make the absolute most elegant and efficient minimalist, bulletproof EDC knife!   :drool:

Sharp eyed members will notice that I am posting pics of all kinds of things that are not the knife in question, and that's because it is still being crafted, and Bob will share some pics when it is ready.  In the meantime, feel free to check out the brass Spartan we gave away back in June to get an idea of what this one will look like!

The rules are the same as always- if we hit our goal of $275 before midnight on November 30th (Forum Offset Time) then this beauty gets to find a new home.  You can make donations to the Forum Operational Fund by using the big orange Make A Donation button on the right side of your screen, using the Donations link at the top of the page or by following this link:

If we hit the goal before midnight on November 15th (Forum Offset Time to be fair) then I will add in another prize for the Early Birds, although it won't be nearly as cool as the knife Bob is making for us!

I used a one piece Ti liner/keyring, well because its nicer... and I swapped main blade for new old stock older blade that sill had crossbow symbol (thicker tang style) well because its nicer... :D
