Is there a One-Piece with SAK Can Opener?
on: October 04, 2018, 01:46:02 AM
Wanting a portable tool, like a one-piece, that has a SAK push-type can opener on it. Could hang from a keychain or slide in the back of a sheath pocket or something. Is there anything out there??  ???

I think the list of opt with can openers instead of bottle openers is extremely short.

Most of the wallet cards like the wallet Ninja have a can opener on as does the UST copy of the Eat'n tool... but I think those are all bigger than what you're looking for.

Perhaps the opener on the Kershaw PT series is sharp enough or could be sharpened to use a can opener.

Beyond that I think you're stuck with an army p38

I thought that the P-38/P-51 were SAK style openers?
I’ve never seen or used them, so that explains my mistake.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

SAK style is ambiguous in that there have been both push and pull type openers in SAKs.
Outback referenced a push type opener, and the P-38 is not the push type.
