was there about 2 days ago, can confirm they had that same display with the knife sets, but didnt really interest me, was looking for the 2 pack buck set from last year that I skipped, but didnt see it, east brunswick NJ store.

one item i found thats a good deal but not at every store, if u use plano or flambeau plastic storage cases, they have an ozark trail one identical to flambeau but cheaper, like $2.50 pretty decent, but not at all the locations near me

one good deal I found was 3 pack of Contigo 20 oz vacuum ss water bottles for about $18, on a separate pallette near electronics/sporting goods

My Walmart has nothing but combos of white metal junk.

No Buck,Leatherman, Gerber, SOG or CRKT specials. No Kershaws period.

Last year was a pretty good haul I thought. But I admit it was the first time I paid attention. There was a Youtuber who unboxed 2 Kershaws for $18. Not sure if all Walmarts has them.

I got that 2-pack of Kershaws for Christmas last year actually. Not bad for the price, despite the less than great edge retention of that steel.

You should look beyond the knives as well. Last year they had bundle deals on other nice gear. Like a 2-pack of Mechanix gloves for $20.

Amazing flipper and a Walmart exclusive. Usually on sale for $10

saw a $4 ozark trail SAK knockoff there today, looks like a climber with no toothpick, no tweezers, no hook.

theres a $20 Kershaw 2 knife set with a liner lock knife and a frame lock knife, they didnt have names, but uses some ultra low grade steel 3cr13 or something, not sure it was worth a purchase, I think that hotwire in post above has same steel.

If anybody ends up getting one of the Old Timer bundles with the Sharpfinger, please report on the steel type and whether it comes with a sheath. Those Schrade packs have absolutely no useful info on the outside.

PS. My local WalMart (Jeffersonville, IN) has the Mechanix gloves 2-pack again.

the ones on display like in the vid probably wont get any lower unless they have huge surplus after christmas

I had ordered Kershaw pico from that cheap deal they had last week, $10 ship to store and it never arrived, customer service in online chat help gave me some bs canned answer about the carrier may not be able to read the label(isn't that walmart)and it may have gotten lost. they must think we're all morons as that was the lamest answer I can think of. wont be doing that ship to store bs again.

I've only seen this deal online, but you can get free shipping to your local Walmart...

6 of the Ozark Trail knives with single color plastic handles for $7.67.

I THINK these are the same ones shown in the video above (where some have mossy oak, etc, patterns).

I grabbed one of the $4 Ozark Trail knives last year. Not exactly the one shown in the video, but an older style with wood handle inserts, and it was SOLID. Good, sharp blade, rock solid lockup, and a back-of-the-spine locking mechanism that was great. if the liner lock/thumbstud version has the same blade and lockup quality, they are SUPER worth 6 for about $8.

Ohh... Also, the following is the one I picked up. Worth every cent of $4.

Ah, bit of a Buck 110 clone, with some decent aesthetics. Is it worth more than $4, or just $4 on the nose?

I can only say I was both willing to pay 4, and felt it was money well spent.

As for the Buck clone thing... yeah, my first pocket knife was a little Buck. I probably have a weak spot for that style.

Everything is completely dull. I rather have picked up a ozark trail knife because most do come sharp if you look for one with edge.

Let me know if you would like more pixtures

Maybe if it wasn’t a 2d Phillips it would have a chance and be somewhat useful.

Awful.

I can also imagine the scammers will buy real SAKS and return these like they do now with Leatherman and the other Ozark multitools. I think copies like this suck, especially because it's red.

It would be cooler if Walmart ordered a special edition genuine Victorinox, bought a bunch like they do and gave people a good deal.

They've been doing this for a while on amazon. read all the reviews either the buyer really misused the sak or they got return and previous buyer exchanged it for cheap ebay fake. this sak ripoff is taking advantage of people not knowing anything about blade steel, and preowned market for swiss army knives.

today at home depot  they had about 30 pallettes covered with black plastic tarps and signs that said "no peeking until black friday"
a few tarps had been partially pulled up, saw some drill combo sets, some dewalt tool boxes etc, but they were mostly covered. tried looking for more of the leatherman displays, but didnt see any poking out, so not sure if its just the rev they are pushing this year.

Target in my area has a gentleman CRKT knife, CRKT snailor, life straw ($17.99), Gerber Mini paraframe & Shard combo ($9.99) and a SAK on sale. Sorry I should had taken pics and paid more attention to the price. But the price I do remember seems comparable to online.

Reason why I even mention it is because over the years the Targets in my area have slowly moved away from stocking MTs and knives.  All of a sudden these show up.

I grabbed the Lifestraw for my earthquake kit. I should have probably grabbed more but I’m broke 😂
