Same here, when I had a car. Never got around to it and now it is obviously too late. It really makes sense to have one though, traffic is one of the most accident prone environments you'll find yourself in and it should fit without problem.

I'll dig my list out when I get home, I've got a very comprehensive kit in the car

I cannot name all that I have in mine.  I'll snap a pic later tho.  Its compact and can be transported easily in a backpack.

I do not have a "list" for you sorry.  Its pretty comprehensive keeping in mind what I'm willing to do.  I also have a very comprehensive home kit as well.  I have a safety vest, and will get flares, I have stobe light with red cone, heavy blanket and gloves as well.

My goal was to assemble items for everyday boo boos.  I also wanted to have OTC meds so I added many of what the items I have in my home.  I thought about what I'd likely encounter on the road and tried to include items I was comfortable using in the event I was a first responder.  I am comfortable up to a point administrating aid so I tried to think of what I'd encounter and added items accordingly.  I also tried to make it easy to carry from my vehicle.  Thankfully I've not had to use this FAK but I'm confident I would be of some help if needed.  I do think when putting together a FAK for the auto its important to know your limits.  If you are not trained or have no clue what to do in a situation then adding items of that nature wouldn't make sense.  We cannot aid everyone in every situation.  I drive a lot for work and am fairly confident to help in most situations till help arrived.

Lots of gloves in case you are a 1st responder.  Lots of gauze and a head lamp.  Since you are trained all the better.  Dollar store is a decent place to pick up items.
