Well, there is a difference:

ability

- possession of the means or skill to do something.
- talent, skill, or proficiency in a particular area.

opportunity

- a time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.
- a chance for employment or promotion.

In Dutch, we have the words vaardigheid and gelegenheid.

You´re right, but I make mistakes too. See how I´ve edited my post.

In fact, my IQ has been measured over 150. That´s because of my skills with words and numbers. Otherwise, I´m a social misfit and a very unstable person (Asparagus syndrome  :D). I became a gardener because it helps me to evade certain problems. I work in a protected environment and live on a budget controlled by local government.

PS And I´m happier than ever before.

Aspergers can be a really tough thing to cope with RoSchro - I'm glad you're happier than you have been. Sounds like you work hard to minimise its effect on you.

It took me a long time to figure out I´m different, Mags, and that I needed help. Once past that hurdle, life became easier. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing RoSchro!
For what it's worth, I think you're a wonderfull part of this place and one of those individuals who adds colour/color  to the threads. Thanks for being here!

:b2t:

The only Swissflame I ever encountered... And also bought, for a whopping, insane €25. :bnghd:

The lighter doesn't work, so it's genuine

The problem these days is that I leave home in the dark and return in the dark as well. So every shot has to be made by the help of artificial light.
Sorry!

What else is in the display cabinet?

CT29 in black and the CT34 and CT41 in red translucent.

A jelly blue Spartan can be found in the back, hanging in a key cabinet by it's cap lifter (on half stop so no constant stress on the spring)

And my golden Climber :climber:

Update!
After the pics I noticed some scratches on the Swissflame scales that I still didn't polish out.
So went into the basement and placed it against the polishing wheel.

Front scale is nearly new. Back scale was held to long against the wheel, overheated and melted a big part from the scale

So if anyone has got a spare set of red translucent plus scales or just the back plus scale, give me a shout!

I've only two, a blue Spartan and red Woodsman.  It's very overcast today so lighting really wasn't working for me today!
