Led Lenser P3 AFS is what I'd get with those specs. Also because it's one of the more readily available quality brands here.
Oh and also(Image removed from quote.)
Oooh right! The Olight S1R...Good one zoidy! If I'm buying a new light, that will be it.
With my fairly limited flashlight experience here are some possibilities.Thrunite T10 - I have one, love it.Fenix LD12 - have other fenix models and rate them.Olight S1A - probably my next flashlight.Zebralight SC5w or SC53c - I have one of their headlamps, love it.Eagletac D25A - these guys move quick, I've been hunting a NW for years.Others I have seen recommended.Solarforce Z2 - was compared to the T10.Sunwayman - can't remember the model sorry.
these are nice, Klarus Mi7(Image removed from quote.)or maybe a nitecore tip, rechargable so he wouldnt need to mess with batteries(Image removed from quote.)

Not the most exciting flashlight I know, but it fitted the brief and was pretty much what he wanted. It's a good size for him and easy to operate... it's got a good beam on it too. He seems happy with it.Does this mean I have to fork out jaffa cakes now?
