ESEE Knives Izula-II

After a very long wait, I finally have an ESEE knife.

This one is going to be a shelf queen.....  YEAH RIGHT.

Let's see if it can live up to all the hype.

congrats. i don't recall seeing a sharpening notch on their knives before, is that a new thing?

I'm looking forward to this. Ordered me a Candiru... and because I couldn't get my hands on a stainless, I got a black one.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Nice knife  :salute:, I actually like the coating on the blade, as far as I know it's the same as on my Ontario RTAK, it's tougher than old boots!

I can confirm that my ESEE 5 definitely does not have a sharpening notch. My 4 has a finger choil that doubles as a sharpening notch.

I can try to get some pics later if anyone is interested.

Congrats Zoid!  I love my Izula II.  It's such a great size for EDC and not too fancy to beat up on.  Hope you share your thoughts as you get to know it.
