Aren´t these available anymore? I have a new one (silver, no box), but wouldn´t dare ask more than 20 bucks for it. However, getting it into the States would double the price, or worse.

I've been debating with myself for days whether to buy one (there's a store here in the Philippines selling it for equivalent of $30) or a Pioneer Solo for $20, or a regular Pioneer for $35. I like that its slim (single layer), but have no use for the hawkbill.


Maybe someday when I build my Alox collection.

They seem to be readily available in Europe but not in the US for some reason. Cheap too. Got one in my pocket right now as I type this, great great knife.

I recently discover the power of hawkbill blades, they are extremely good at all sorts cutting task as long as not cutting against a large surface like a cutting board.
Try it and you will see.
