Yes! Leatherman. Can use the Leatherman 2D bits as well as standard Hex bits. I'm really glad Poncho mentioned this option.  :tu:

I took my Rebar apart, removed the serrated blade and added a wire stripper from SOG.

Took some time and experimenting with tool order, but I got it!

Day 18 (continued):

I had a chance to go fishing today. It was cold and really windy, but a chance to go fishing is a chance to go fishing....so I went.



I had one really nice strike, with a big brown rolling up to take a bite, but he was off before I could set the hook. Other than that, it was a quiet day. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

The Rebar was my primary fishing tool. Actually, aside from a rod & reel, my only fishing tool. The pliers were useful for crimping split-shot and pulling tag ends of cut line off eyelets. I was delighted to find that the wire cutters were able to neatly cut some 6# monofilament. I wasn't sure they would handle that fine task, but they did so with precision. Win: Rebar.



I would have liked to include a shot of the pliers being used to remove a hook from a trophy trout....but....not every fishing trip ends with a glamor shot. Maybe tomorrow......
