[SOLD] Syph007 Custom SAK - Urban Pioneer w/ Extra Parts

Hello everyone. I'm selling my extra Syph007 modded SAK, an Urban Pioneer I bought a few years ago. At the time, it was ordered along with another as an identical pair, back when I had to get a backup of whatever it was I intended to carry.

Anyway, this has sat unused in my storage drawer since I got it, and is of course in new condition as it came from Mr. Lessard. It's a Pioneer model with added in-line Philips driver and scissors. Handles are HAIII black.

Also, I have two extra main blades drilled to fit, as well as an extra awl.

I've taken my carry model apart, and replaced the blade when I snapped the tip, so these are a bit handy if this would be the only knife you carry (as mine was for about 4 years).

Asking $205 PayPal'd & Shipped to CONUS, but will ship internationally if the buyer covers the extra post.

Sure. Here's the picture from Bob's gallery, which is the model this is. It uses the 91mm scissors, so the nail nick faces the blade.

I am wondering if the scissors on yours are easier to get out than those on the Pioneer X?

A bit easier, yeah. The nick only has to clear the rear of the main blade on the custom SAK, but on the Pioneer X it has to clear the can opener. This makes it a bit of a pain on the Pioneer X. I carry both models, but the scissors are a bit easier to grab on the custom.

Well if it motivates you, I've carried mine for 5 years, pretty much every day. It's done everything I've needed it to do.The finish has held up really well, and honestly, the Philips driver has done 75% of the work at home and outside. Haven't need much to grab a regular screwdriver.

Anyway, this one is pristine, and identical to mine.  :tu:

After thinking it over, I’ll have to pass. It’s exactly what I’d want, but I can’t justify spending that when I already have several SAKs that pretty much do what I need.

Maybe if it’s still around after the holidays....  lol

Well I have an Urban Pioneer... Not built by Syph though... A self mod... exactly the same tool config as above... down to the scissor nail nick... I prefer the nail nick on the “correct side”... It’s now my most carried edc... Perfect for my needs...

Oh I want it!  I just can’t do it right now.

If I had something like that, I might as well sell most of my other knives, SAKs and Leathermans!  They’d just be setting in a drawer. They do now.

I either carry my Pioneer or my Buck 110...

Can tools such as yours have the tools rearranged so the blade is on the shield side with pivot on shield end, so a thumb stud put on blade and cutout in scale done?

zrxoa1, haven’t actually thought about it... would imagine there would be no problems in tool access for the other layers... But with the blade on the shield pivot end, might have some problems with the awl...
