Alternatives to the shield and cross logo
on: November 28, 2017, 08:27:47 PM
Many of you will be familiar with the Jedi logo on Jaya´s SAKs, or the fancy artwork on Monrogue´s MechaRogue.

I can think of many reasons why someone would prefer not having the Swiss cross on their knife, so I was wondering how many of you sport a different logo, or what logo you would have if you could have it your way.

On my dream SAK I would have a very simple one, shown below,  depicting a human being as a kid might draw it, with a cross and a circle. (Obviously I´m not an artist  :P).

Your logo reminds me of Aitor's one for some reason.

I'd like one with the world logo.

Own free choice?

The logo of a SAK...
Something like:

On the front scale.

Always wanted to handle one of those myself (always is a little overstatement here) but I just don't see them popping up here...

A Unicorn. Obviously. But only if the Vic is girly pink...
(I found this one on the German Amazon in case you're wondering. Yes, it really exists. Christmas is saved.)

I want to get a set of the V-and-globe. They are cool- I just wish they'd do three versions, all around the globe.

Two ways to read it. Victorinox domination of pockets in every time zone. Or just a simple statement, should mankind ever get it's act together and get into the black.

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you're not ready, it's "a mother". If you are, it's "mom".

It's buried in syph's thread, but a customer had asked for a 1/4" hex hole instead of a cross. Simple, elegant, and useful.  :like:

I hate to be the one to tell you, but the holes should be round, not square.

(Yes I know, it's an outer scale and you're just marking the locations of the rivets.   ;) )

I have a classic with the Air Force crest embedded, instead of a cross logo, and I have another 58mm with the Santa Fe railroad logo on it.

I'm personally not all that concerned about the logo, but I get that some countries/religions might not be super keen on a cross on their items.

I LOVE that unicorn scaled knife. It SCREAMS 'tactical'. :D
