Something new - Victorinox 111 mm to 76 mm :)
on: November 30, 2017, 12:45:55 PM

Little, but very strong knife. Big blade: from 111 mm knife, shortened to 45 mm edge. Little blade: from 91 mm knife.

Greetings, Samek

Never seen anything like that before!
How did you do the springs?
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Samek, it might be little, it might be weird, but I like it!

Wait... that sounds like most of my exes.... hmmm....

Still like the knife, I am a fan of the class I call "little big knives" because they might be small but they are mighty perform well above their weight and length class. I usually only speak of fixed blades like that, and I know this has some mass, but small and very strong.

So where did you get the springs? Liners are easy, but a spring that does't suck is hard to make. The one for the smaller blade looks like a cut down 91mm, but the spring for the "big" blade looks very nifty.

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you're not ready, it's "a mother". If you are, it's "mom".

Those look like backsprings from a 111mm slide lock model...
