The humble Spork.....
on: December 01, 2017, 01:31:15 AM
I like my chow. And I'm willing to try most anything....anything that promises to be good. What I don't like, quite so much, is to try something for the first time, with a flimsy plastic spoon. So, the humble Spork has become part of my EDC.

I keep one spork in my day pack, another in my briefcase. And another in my field bag. Sometimes one in my motorcycle jacket, sometimes one in the back pocket of my jeans.

My motto should be: With Spork, Happiness.

I use a long handled spork for camping, 'cuz one needs to be able to reach down into those nooks and crannies. The shorties I save for more "conventional" uses. I'm not so fond of the double ended versions, but....I keep a pair in my picnic cooler so Mrs Nix will always have a dining implement at hand. One wants to be gentlemanly, naturally.

Here is a quick shot of the sporks I've been using recently:

Here are a few shots of Sporks I've been using over the past month:

Yes, I'm sporked. And looking for a Spork User badge....

You're an Inspiration Nix, I've a lot of time for the ever versatile Spork. I'm particularly liking the anodised purple one.

As Mrs Nix will doubtless confirm you're a Proper Gentleman with a Spork close at hand.
