Spyderco T mag $49.95 on factory closeout

Spyderco T mag on closeout, MSRP $250 now $50, still in stock as of this post. Weird design, kinda like a friction folder, but hard to argue with the price consider it's got S30V blade, carbon fiber handle, and titanium liner.

I ordered some  of them on Saturday - can't go wrong @ that price - with FREE shipping on two or more.

I wonder if they put the wrong price and it should be $149 - similar to the discount offered on other Spyderco closeouts.

It's been that price for two days, so it shouldn't be an error. Consider it's still in stock at this price it looks like spyderco have quite a few in stock that they are trying to move.

Too bad the free shipping deal doesn't apply to outside CONUS or I'd get two.

IIRC from the Spyderco forums there wasn't a helluvalotta interest in the Tmag. IMO it's more gimmick than useful.

I tried search for info regard it on all the big knife forums, there wasn't much interest anywhere, guess it was a dud and spyderco is trying to unload it at little above cost. Still looks neat thou, maybe I can even mod it into a liner lock, since there's already a Ti liner there.

...so I'd guess in a few years they'll probably be worth a lot more than 50 bucks. Overlooked novelties always seem to make a good comeback on collector markets.

Why don't I live in the US.    That is such a good deal  .  They sell for about £120 over here and are legal EDC as well.
